"Our Past" - Interesting stuff about the history of Deer Creek

available, information on the history of the land on which Deercreek is

In
the fall of 1986, the annual Homerama was held in what was to become
Deercreek. At the time of the event, the plans were to call the
subdivision Windridge Village II. Various builders displayed 12
homes and opened them to the public (an admission fee was charged) for
viewing. The homes were professionally decorated and completely
furnished.
The twelve homes were located at
the far east end of the subdivision as
indicated on the map below.
